Dr Dumas specific fields of interest are:
- Breast surgery (especially breast augmentation).
- Facial aesthetic surgery (Face lifts and blepharoplasty).
- Body contouring surgery (Liposuction and abdominoplasty).
His practice also extends to the Hillcrest Private Hospital and the Margate Private Hospital on the South Coast.
He is fully registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as a Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, and is also registered with the General Medical Council (G.M.C.)
Dr Leon Dumas is a Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. He studied at the University of the Free State where he obtained his M.B.Ch.B degree, cum laude. He subsequently completed his Masters Degree in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery (M.Med) (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery), from the same University.
Dr Dumas has been a Consultant Specialist in Private Practice for the last 16 years. He is currently based at the Life Healthcare Entabeni Hospital in Durban.
